Further information and copies of the original program, performance instructions and copies of the score can be obtained by following the link to the left.
The Notation of this composition is the invention of the composer. Various parameters of music are notated in particular ways. Firstly Colors indicate a particular dynamic level - the warmer colors indicating a louder level, the cooler colors indicating a softer level. Therefore in the example below the tempo decreases as the stave rises, the dynamic level is Forte and increases to a louder dynamic as the beam of the notes thickens and reduces again as the beam decreases in thickness.
There are three geometric structures that contain staves and notes. The triangle as seen below -- indicates that the performer may play the staves in any order as indicated with regard to dynamics (color and beam thickness) and Tempo (rise and fall of staves).
Click for larger picture The Square, seen below, indicates that the performer may play the notes writen at any tempo and rhythm but at the dynamic level indicated.
Click for larger picture The Circle seen below is to be performed by the performer choosing a place on the circle between beamed sections and proceding either cockwise or counter clockwise until the whole circle is completed.
