TOPIC:- Roman Catholic Mass/Vernacular Mass

The origins of the Roman Catholic Mass form date back to well before the Second Century. The modern Mass (Vernacular Mass), however, only date back to the Second Vatican Council. The Modern Mass was introduced in 1969 under the title of "The New Order of The Mass".
The Mass is the central service of the Roman Catholic Church and is the celebration of the Sacrament of the Eucharist. It has two basic parts -- The Liturgy of the Word and The Liturgy of the Eucharist. These two parts are flanked repectively by the Greeting and Penitential Rite, and the Blessing and Concluding Rite. Composer Kerry R. Scott has written a significant number of compositions with liturgies as the basis for the compositions.
